Tournament
2009 Mainely Bass China Lake Open
Proceeds to benefit the MBFN Youth Program SPECIAL NOTE PLEASE READ - CHANGE IN VENUE LOCATION
The event will be held out of "The Cabins". The Cabins is located approximately ½ mile south of the north launch on the eastern shore on Rt 202/Lakeview Road. This is a working resort and we ask that you please respect that there will be other guests not associated with the tournament on-site. In the morning, please keep noise to a minimum and we ask that you respect the property. For more information on "The Cabins", visit www.chinalakecabins.com.
- Accommodations: The Cabins has a number of rentals available on Friday night and limited availability on Saturday night. Their prices are very reasonable. Save yourself the early morning drive and come stay the night! Please sign-up for an overnight to support our sponsor!
- Food: The Cabins staff will be offering breakfast for $6 to all in attendance in the dinning room on site. Breakfast will be served from 6 - 7 AM. They will also be offering coffee and bagels or donuts for those looking for something a little lighter. Please come out and support our sponsor!
- On-Site Parking: No trailers will be allowed to be left on the site due to limited space. Guests and spectators are welcome to park on-site for the afternoon weight-in.
- Off-site Parking: The church at the north launch is allowing overflow parking for trailers in their parking lot. Please park as tight as possible beginning away from the church. Mainely Bass staff will be on-site to help direct parking.
- Boat Space: There is a fair amount of shoreline available at this location - some boats may be required to hold offshore before blast-off and prior to weigh-in. To help us facilitate a smooth rules meeting, launch and weight-in, we are asking all teams to consider the following:
- All boats must have their live wells inspected BEFORE blast-off. It is the responsibility of Teams to have a Mainely Bass representative inspect their live well. Boats must display proper flagging indicating that their live wells have been inspected as they pass the starter boat. Those who do not have the proper flagging at blast-off will be sent to the end of the line.
- We will attempt to hold the pre-tournament meeting on-shore. However, depending on the size of the field, the Pre-tournament meeting could be held on the water. We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to a great day on the water. Download Application
