Best Fishing Story: I believe every day on the water is a good day, catching a fish is a bonus but, on a very calm day in mid June fishing with my friend Mitch Ross on a pond near Waldoboro Maine. Only catching a few small fish for the day casting a pop-r as far as I could out in front of the boat. I looked back at Mitch and said “all I want to hear is a big splash.” With two short tugs of my line that 7lb 2oz Largemouth hammered that bait and took off like a shark out of water. After a few minutes of chaos you could have heard our screams for miles as we landed it in the net. P. S. Thanks Dad for making time when I was a child to take me fishing.
