Best Fishing Story: One summer day in July fishing China Lake with my 6 Year old step daughter Tara. On most days she is content fishing with lures like a senko, worm or tube but today she tells me I want one of those baits that look like a crawfish and picks out a jig out of one of my boxes. She then tells me that she wants a specific trailer. As I go looking for her trailer I start to wonder how she knows what this is but I keep that thought to myself and put the trailer on for her. We start fishing on a hump in the basin and as I watch her I can see she is working the jig along the bottom and the next thing I know she sets the hook and reals in a nice largemouth. I land the fish for her and she then proceeds to explain to me how I should be working the jig so I can catch one. I asked her where she learned this and she said from watching fishing on tv. I think she is hooked. Priceless
