Best Fishing Story: I qualified to participate in the 2008 MBFN State Fish-Off as a Boater however I chose to compete as a Co-Angler. I'd like to use this field to thank the Boaters with whom I was paired up with in this event.On Day One I fished with Harold Jones of Kennebec Valley Bassmasters. Harold put us on what seemed like an endless supply of fish. I was able to put together my heaviest bag of the tournament weighing 14.70 for a position in 9th Place.
My Day Two partner also from Kennebec Valley Bassmasters and a Registered Maine Bass Fishing Guide was John Blais www.belgradebassin.com. John took me to my Day 1 spot early which had re-loaded with enough fish for me to quickly land a solid limit and eventually cull my way to 13.99 giving me a two day total of 28.69 and a 7th Place finish! Thank You to both anglers for a great couple of days of fishing and friendship on the water.
